Introduction

Welcome to Pokémon Invocation! This game has been a passion project of mine since January 2023, developed on Version 20.1 of Pokémon Essentials. Set in the Esprit Region, it features a mix of classic Pokémon and unique Fakemon, with even more planned for the future!

As my first publicly released project, I hope you enjoy what I’ve created so far. Currently, the game offers 7-9 hours of content, covering both the main story and side activities. Dive in and explore the Esprit Region!

Description

You wake up from a vivid dream of past events, only to have your roommate inform you that Professor Kabal urgently needs your help. The professor reveals that the region’s Gym Leaders each guard a piece of an ancient artifact he has been researching. Recently, two mysterious groups have shown interest in the shards, but their intentions remain unclear. Entrusting you with a starter Pokémon, Professor Kabal requests your assistance in uncovering the mystery and protecting the artifact. Will you rise to the challenge and discover the truth behind their motives?

A side story involving Pokemon Ranger and Almia
EXP All: Toggle on or off for convenience, with traditional EXP Shares also available.
Level Down Candies: Found in shops, these allow for self-imposed challenges or maintaining level caps.

IMPORTANT

BEFORE UPDATING, GO INTO A POKEMON CENTER AND SAVE THERE IN THE OLDER VERSION JUST IN CASE OF MAP CHANGES

Known Bugs

Occasionally checking some Pokemon’s locations in the Pokedex crashes the game (unknown cause)
Sometimes between Podsto and Noriver (starting town and first town) Overworld Encounters stop spawning, to fix this save and restart the game (unsure if it was fixed)
When it asks you if you want to do another Repel after one ends, you have to press ‘down’ once in the bag menu for it to actually register that you’re selecting the item
Badge count says 0 when loading a file, but you do have the proper amount of badges
